I came away from Eroticon 2019 with a hundred ideas for things I wanted to write, pitch and tweet about. After channelling a little of that inspiration, I’m super excited to announce a thing I’ve been working on behind the scenes for a few weeks: my shiny new audio porn project.
Audio porn helped me learn how to come during my masturbation. I needed dirty words to tip me over into orgasm, and especially when I was first working out how to hold a vibrator to my clit until I shuddered and screamed into my pillow and I couldn’t read erotica as I was trying to come. And now I’m going to start turning my own writing into accessible smut.
Accessibility
I write a lot of smut. I love playing with words to capture filthy ideas, and I do hope that my smut turns people on. Audio recordings will make my blog more accessible for folks using screen-readers, while also giving another option for those of you who like your smut aurally to enjoy my filth.
Of course, recording my blog posts as audio for increased accessibility and sexiness is not an original idea – Girl on the Net has spent several years building up an audio porn collection on her own blog. However, she is happy for me to ‘borrow’ her idea and add to the collection of accessible smut in the world.
Artwork
The wonderful artwork for this project was created for me by Hazel Mead, who is one of the most awesome people I’ve ever Twitter-talked to and I really wish I’d met her at Eroticon 2019. I am deeply grateful for her to agreeing to work on this project with me within my budget level, and you should all go and commission her to make you brilliant, beautiful, sex-positive artwork. Anonymity
I’ve made the choice that I’m not comfortable putting my voice out there – my anonymity is too important to me right now. Instead, I’m paying fellow sex bloggers to record my erotic stories as audio porn. I have a very limited budget for this project, but please get in touch if you’d like to contribute a piece of audio porn for me. I do pay, and all you need is a phone with a semi-decent microphone.
