I’m having fun exploring my gender presentation. Of course, gender expression doesn’t have to equate gender identity, but since coming out as trans I have been playing with a more masculine gender presentation. I’ve almost entirely given up wearing knickers in favour of boxers – but my knickers have not been entirely discarded. There’s something very gender affirming about packing with lace panties…
Packing, for those of you who don’t know, is wearing padding or a phallic object in the front of underwear to give the appearance of having a penis. Packing is commonly practiced by trans men and transmasculine folks, and if you want to read more about it you should check out Kelvin Sparks‘ blog.
I don’t pack very often, but when I do I end up utterly enchanted by the bulge in my boxers. While I don’t have much gender dysphoria about my junk, I do experience gender euphoria when someone goes down on me like they’re sucking a dick or when I look down at my bulge and feel like I have a factory installed cock.
As I’m always a fan of a little gender-fuckery, I love the incongruity of wearing boxers when I’m wearing skirts, or packing with red lace panties. I love this photo too – a year ago I might have tried to take a photo of me spreading my labia with two fingers while I pulled a pair of lace knickers to the side. Today I’m using a similar motion to share with you all a peak of my bulge: I can’t stop smiling.
