In picking out a photo for the final ever Sinful Sunday, I wanted to find one that showed how much has changed since I first took part.
I’m doing some much-needed maintenance around my blog right now – largely to ensure everything complies with the UK’s Online Safety Act. As part of this, I’ve (temporarily!) archived some posts and pages until I have time to update and curate them as necessary. Thank you for your patience; I’m hoping to get as much filth as possible back up soon.

I find it especially chilling that so often the reason cited for restricting adult content is ‘safety’. Usually you’ll find the rules on porn right next to the rules on graphic violence, as if the two are comparable, and comparably harmful. Why is it dangerous for consenting adults to share in the joy that sex brings us? Do we really want to live in a world where sexual expression is seen as dangerous by default?
Girl On The Net, Goodbye Sinful Sunday/What we do is good, actually
I was nineteen when I first posted a photo as part of Sinful Sunday, back in October 2017. Today, it’s hard not to feel embarrassed of my younger self. Seven-and-a-half years later, I feel like an entirely different person.
It’s been over a year since I posted here, but I’m still writing as Quinn. It was starting this blog that ultimately led me to the career I’ve built for myself. Today I can legitimately call myself a journalist. I dreamed of being a writer when I was younger, and it still amazes me that nowadays I actually get paid to this.
This blog – and the people I connected with through going to Eroticon and participating in projects like Sinful Sunday – is a huge part of why I now send editors pitch emails with the words “ass virginity” in the subject line and get commissioned to write features about how bottoming for anal can be pleasurable.
For my final Sinful Sunday photo, I wanted to capture the ways I’ve changed since my first. A jock strap, because I’ve stepped into my gender and started figuring out what masculinity looks like for me. A tattoo I got just a few days before my twenty-sixth birthday last year, making my body more visibly queer. A happy trail of wiry hair from 151 weeks on testosterone that you can follow down my belly to my dick.
A photo that’s a little blurry, a little imperfect. I have improved when it comes to the technical elements of photographing myself, but more importantly I now know what – who – I’m trying to capture on film. I’m so much happier with the results now I’m no longer trying to perform what I thought “female sexuality” should look like.
I’m so much happier in general.

Thank you so much to Molly for running Sinful Sunday for over a decade, and to her and all the other writers who created the community that gave me the space to grow into myself. Journalism
After graduating with a degree in journalism last year, I’m now freelancing full time! Some of my favourite articles that I’ve worked on recently include:
- this piece for The Skinny about foot fetishes and STIs,
- this one for Gay Times about dental dams and safer sex practices, and
- this Xtra article about why trans masculine people still struggle to get on PrEP.
Genderbent
My newsletter, Genderbent, explores gender, transmasculinity, and mental illness. I publish new essays on a bi-weekly (ish) basis. Each newsletter, also includes also includes a cruising the internet round-up of links to what I’ve been writing, reading, and generally getting excited about recently.
If you’d like to support my work and keep in touch, it would mean a lot if you subscribed.
Gender Neutral Urinal Press
I launched Gender Neutral Urinal Press in 2024. Inspired by a workshop about explicit zines and archiving porn at the Glasgow Zine Festival in 2023, I wanted to create written porn that was tangible. A mini zine that people physically hold while reading and/or jerking off.
I’m publishing a new issue of every month, each with an exclusive erotic story that isn’t available online. If you’d like to get your hands on a copy, you can do so by becoming a paid subscriber! For just £7.50 per month, I will post a physical mini zine directly to your door.
