~ Featured Posts by our Guest Editor Quinn Rhodes (ze/hir) ~

There’s a theme to the pieces I picked for my featured posts, and it’s that they both made me feel valid in my gender identity. I never expected coming out as trans to be easy, but being a vocal genderqueer sex blogger has really not been fun so far. Thank you to all the folks (including e[lust]!) who have stood with the trans and non-binary sex bloggers over the last month, and thank you to the amazing trans writers who inspire me to keep exploring my own gender – and talking about it!

    #1 It’s all a bit pants by A to sub B (she/her/they/them)

“Tell me I’ve been a good girl and I’m going to be grinning but tell me I’ve been a good boi and fuuuuccckkk, I’ve melted into a puddle.”

I felt soooo seen by this post. Bee talks about their experience with gender and lace panties and feeling like we need to conform to gender stereotypes. It can be really hard and I’m sorry Bee is finding it all a bit pants, but I’m really glad they’re exploring their gender expression and presentation.

#2 Queer Names for Your Genitals
    by Mx Nillin (they/them)

“One of the most essential parts of reclaiming autonomy over myself as a queer enby was taking back the language used to describe my body.”

As someone who has spent a LOT of time over the last few months thinking about what I want to call my junk, I loved this post. Nillin shares a bunch of words they’ve seen other trans and non binary folks use to refer to their genitals, and I’m now slightly tempted to refer to my dick as my “ominous parts”.

Today was tough – like, sitting on the sofa, sobbing with exhaustion tough. But ever since I saw this photo I knew I wanted to use it to illustrate some filth about playful sex, and this was the day I made it happen. And because I’m going back to explicitly telling y’all that everyone in my smut is queer, this filth features a bisexual lesbian taking photos of her genderfluid boyfriend as they fuck. Enjoy.

Have you ever had sex when you aren’t fully enthusiastic about fucking? I expect most of us have – it’s not that you mind having sex at that moment, but you’d probably rather listen to a podcast or go for a run or eat buttered hot cross buns in your pyjamas. I want to talk about sex that we absolutely consent to, but that we’re having more out of obligation and awkwardness than because we really want to fuck.

  • Sex toy review: Zumio X

    Sex toy review: Zumio X

A purple silicone sex toy tapering to a small head sits on a white box that reads 'Zumio' on red sheets. Photo.

I’ve heard so many good things about Zumio and their SpiroTIP™ technology, so I was super excited when they reached out to me and offered to send me a Zumio X to review myself. However, everything I’ve heard about Zumio suggested that their awesomely designed toys wouldn’t work well for me, because of the kind of clit stim I need to come. While I was kind of right and didn’t have an orgasm with the Zumio X, I still absolutely loved putting it on my junk and had a lot of fun writing this review.

At the end of March, my wanking from home was focussed on helping me find sex fun again and reconnect with my body. I’m no longer doing scheduled masturbation session, but I am definitely getting off more than I was at the start of 2020. However, while I’ve put time and effort into cultivating and nurturing my sex drive, I still tend towards low-effort wanking positions. We’re now in May and still in lockdown, so I challenged myself to do a sex- periment and put some more effort into my masturbation.
